Dabo had two generational Qbs and plethora of Wideouts and beat two historical great bama teams for title . Ryan Gay had two generational QBs and plethora of Wideouts also=0 titles. Ryan Gay is John Cooper the much maligned former Ohio State coach always talented roster but fall short and frustrated Ocryo fans are starting to see it. CJ Stroud is a monster at Qb and Ryan Gay could not win a Cfp with Marvin Harrison Jr etc

I do think Ryan Day is a pretty good coach has a very good W-L record, when they missed the FG againt Georgia they probably would have won the title had they made that. the year they lost to clemson they would have had a decent chance against LSU i believe. but as it stands he falls into a cant win the big one category.

Ryan Day will be marked as a great coach when he wins something other than a Big 10 title followed by a loss.

In my opinion Day lost the game versus Clemson because he stupidly told his team over and over they could out physical Clemson, we would get intimidated and TOSU would beat us. Instead his team committed a ton of stupid but illegal hits and we kicked that OSU butt as we usually do.

Now that TOSU has fallen behind Michigan, Day has some catching up to do. It remains to be seen if Day can win on the biggest stage.
